Safety Policy

Draft safety principles for DameBola, and the line between what works and what does not.

This text is a draft for review by a qualified lawyer. It is not legal advice and it is not the final version. Consider requirements in the Dominican Republic and the United States before publishing it as a final policy.

Safety is built in parts. This policy does not turn a future feature into a current one.

What the website already does

  • Accepts pre-registrations and lets a person review them.
  • Stores documents outside the public website.
  • Offers a contact and reporting channel.
  • Protects the admin panel with a password, a session, and permissions.

What is still in preparation

In-app identity verification, ratings, trip history, trip tracking, trip sharing, and in-app emergency assistance stay marked Coming soon until they are built and verified.

Emergencies

In an emergency, contact 911 or the local service. Do not rely on an app button that does not exist yet.

Insurance

This website does not promise insurance coverage. Insurance requirements will be published before drivers are activated and will have to meet applicable law.
